Multicoloured Bougainvillea
I noticed a few days ago that one of the Bougainvillea that I thought had orange flowers actually has multicoloured flowers. You can see that the majority of the flower is orange but there is also some light pink as well as a few petals of dark pink. There are about five other flowers and they all show this interesting colour combination.

How beautiful this is. It makes me wish I had bought a bouganvillea this year.
ReplyDeleteI've seen pictures of them planted along south facing walls. As much as 3/4 of the plant may be covered in blooms. If I could grow them here I would dedicate an entire side of the house to it.
