Greenhouse Pot Duty

One of the worst jobs in the greenhouse is washing pots. Every few weeks, we need to wash thousands of pots. The sink is in the basement and there are no windows and little airflow. It smells really bad and sometimes I wonder if it would pass sanitary codes and whether or not I'm surrounded by mould. Anyway, this sink is about 70cm deep and is filled with pots and trays. A lot of the pots are quite sharp and I'm worried about open sores in water that's been sitting there mixed with dirt for about a week...
