Seeds Arrive!

Today my first batch of seeds arrived from Whatcom.  I don't have much to say except that I'm super excited!  I've already started soaking some of them.  The other palms should arrive within the next few weeks.  I also transplanted my largest Moringa stenopetala into larger pots today.  Three of the five look fine but I'm worried about the other two.

  1. you have some very interesting ones there! congratulations! :)

  2. What amazing seed size differences!!! Good grief!!!

  3. @Rika, thanks, hopefully they grow well!

@Julie, It really is amazing. It wasn't even extra shipping for the huge seeds!

  4. Of course the Palm seeds are giant! They look like walnuts! Good luck with them. I hope they all sprout for you!

  5. Good luck with the seeds

But quick question - what to do with Stevia once you have one? I've come by a plant and don't really know what to do with it.

  6. @Laura, This ones are actually similar to mini coconuts. They are even edible. They're soaking right now. Many people have them sprout in less than a month but up 6!

@Andrew, You can sweeten stuff with the leaves like coffee/tea. You can let the set in water and mix that into sweet recipes or dressing. Maybe even just eat some raw leaves if you want a snack.
