Fern Foliage

I really like ferns so I decided to share some photos that I've taken to use as desktop wallpapers. Hopefully you enjoy them! Tomorrow I'll upload some Hibiscus photos that I took last week.

Rose Art

I took some photos of the roses around the Municipal Gardens. The backgrounds were distracting and not very nice so I tried to downplay and almost eliminate them in several photos. Tomorrow I'm back to work in the greenhouses so I'll have some updates on the seedlings. I'm also hoping some of the other seeds I've ordered will arrive this week.

Flower Art

Here are some more pictures of flowers with greyscale backgrounds. I played around with them trying a few different effects and tried to make some of the flowers appear to have a slight glow. Hope you like them!

I haven't decided whether or not I like blurring the backgrounds. I think it depends on the flower structure and the image backdrop. Any suggestions (it's not a high quality camera)?

Hibiscus Art

I recently rediscovered and old IKEA picture frame with the default photos in it. These are the photos that I'll be using instead. They were done quickly and will be printed relatively small (and generally viewed from a few metres away anyway), so they're not top notch but I still really like them. I figured I'd upload in case anyone was interested.




This last flower was originally yellow that's why the colour is a little odd. I like how it has a more 'magical' feel. I changed the colours in all the photos to get them closer to the colour scheme of the room that they'll be in.
