Happy Earth Hour 2010!
For those of you that don't know what Earth Hour is, take a look at this link! Every year on the last Saturday of March from 8:30-9:30pm local time people around the world turn out their lights (and more). I posted on facebook but forgot to mention it here. We just got finished with no lights, TV or laptops. If you haven't missed it please join in and support energy conservation!

I participated last year, but this year, I have my clock radio playing a CD, my laptop on, half of the lights on in the apartment plus three fluorescent shop light fixtures, and I'm doing three loads of laundry.
ReplyDeleteWorst Earth Hour ever. I console myself with not using climate-control appliances year-round, however! I mean, I used the AC one night in August, because I had 30 people in my apartment for my birthday, but that was a special occasion.
:O Well you'll just have to participate next year to make up for it! :)
