My
Brugmansia are sprouting!! Well at least the one in the centre. Kind of. It's more just a root but that means it's alive so I'm super excited! I'll be sure to update when it has it's first set of leaves.
Tomato "Tiny Tim" - No leaf miners on the new leaves! Yeah!!
Congrats on the sprout! I've had these brug's push themselves root and all out of the soil, That's how my third one cooked to death. The tiny tim seedlings are interest, so small.
ReplyDeleteThey really are tiny. The second from the bottom in the middle seems to be super dwarf. I'm going to keep an eye on it and save it if it turns out to be something special.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Brugmansia info. I'll watch carefully to make sure it doesn't push up and dry out.

ReplyDeleteHooray for sprouts and bug-free leaves! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteI think Jessica is a spammer, though.
Yeah...no leaf miners!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThere are a few spammers. There have been two or three on the various Moringa posts. I didn't delete those because at least they were selling seeds or things that people may actually be looking for but this one... nope.
ReplyDeleteIt really is exciting to see those miners disappear. I've one this battle but the war will continue to wage.
Did you do any special treatment on the seeds such as soaking in boiling water overnight? I've got a few seedlings going, one of which is just a root poking out of the seed, It looks like the seed shell is tough so I hope the plant will be able to burst it...
ReplyDeleteI soaked for a few hours, then placed in damp paper towel. Make sure that the paper towel doesn't dry out! When they started sending out roots, I transferred to soil.
