Eucalyptus deglupta

I stumbled upon this tree and thought is was worth a share.  It is called the rainbow eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta).  To take a look click here.  Very interesting.  If anyone can make a hardier version I would really appreciate it.  Thanks in advance!

  1. Yeah they are amazing. I think I saw them at Fairchild Botanical Garden in Miami. Or somewhere in Florida. I love interesting bark.

  2. I've never seen so much diversity in the bark colouration of the same tree. What a great species!

  6. @princeofpalms, I've subscribed. How old do the trees have to be before they display colour on the trunk? Is it possible to make a bonsai that has colouration?
