Ha! I don't have any Oxalis, but I thought about buying some at the grocery store just to photograph it for a blog post.
I love how it's the first thing to come to mind. I've been telling everyone that oxalis is the 'latin' name for shamrock and been drawing pictures with the name above... I'm a very cool person....
I just saw your post from Sunday, Hints of Spring. There are some lovely places over there! A few of those places look like a great place to read a book, or sip coffee and watch people. Great pics.~Randy
Thanks! The Municipal Gardens are really nice. The park system hear is alright too. The city however is horribly planned. We have 353 000 people but seem to have the mentality of a town with 25 000. They tried for years to keep this city small. The zoning is odd, road networks terrible, no major arterial highway to the CBD, really bad mass transit. It frustrates me. But many areas are photogenic!
We live 1 1/2 hours from my parents, but my mom can live with that. I used to live 1500 miles (2400 km) from them. Of course, that's where I met Mike....in Austin, Texas. But I'm home now. We both are. And happy.~Randy
Good to hear. I could be moving about 3500km away. I'm hoping that I'll make enough to fly her down for holidays. I'll just have to wait and see!
