Sanseviera (In Classy Brown Pot)

This is one of my Sanseviera.  It's actually a few plants that started their lives as cuttings for one of the biology labs.  They were just going to be thrown out and I couldn't handle it so I took them home and now their in this wonderful pot.  The pot used to house a coffee plant but it grew to large and was moved into a larger pot.

I think the plant and this pot go extremely well together. The shapes and colours contrast well but the smooth, glossy appearance brings the two together.  Hope you enjoy it!  In the background you can see a picture on the wall with some of the photos I uploaded to this blog.  I just changed the colours so it fits in with the room.  You can also see a twenty year old sewing machine way in the back.  Over the last few days I've been teaching myself how to sew.  It's harder than it looks...

  1. I love this plant. I am from Ft. Lauderdale Fla. and these grow outside and can come up as weeds. I love the pot/plant combination.

  3. They seem almost impossible to kill. I have not been kind to this one and it's doing just fine. It always looks great!
