Aloe vanbalenii (those saw-tooth edges are NOT friendly)
Crassula x imperialis (looks like the offspring of moss and a zipper)
Aloe vera (well known medicinal plant)
Agave (these blue ones as well as the variegated ones are my favourite)
Haworthia fasciata (I really like these and have some at home)
Sansevieria trifasciata hannii (a very dense Sansevieria hybrid)
Any tips on getting back to sleep would be greatly appreciated! We have those garlic bread things that are similar to oven pizzas and about one million calories and I really want one right now. Arghhhh... The joy that is food! I'm not even yawning tired. This is unbelievable. I'm really glad it's Friday.

ReplyDeleteI love the Aloe vanbalenii. I have a similar one (I think) which seem to be going downhill - the tips are turning brown. Any ideas how I can save it? Maybe it's too wet... spring in Melbourne (Australia).
ReplyDeleteIt may be a bit damp. The tips always tend to turn a bit brown. The plant likes to be predominantly dry but then drenched once a week. Make sure the soil is well drained and doesn't retain water.
ReplyDeleteThat Crassula x imperialis looks so cool!!! I want some of it! Will have to search around for some! Although I have some crassula mucosa "Watch Chain" and it spreads like wildfire...it has taken over almost a whole succulent tire that I have! Time to weed some out!
