They should germinate very quickly in a light/moist soil with some heat. Germination will be slow or non-existent if temperature as too low.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757110538056043095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-15552013456213645572014-06-19T17:47:59.075-04:002014-06-19T17:47:59.075-04:00My seedlings had no issues/setbacks after being tr...My seedlings had no issues/setbacks after being transplanted so you should be good to go.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757110538056043095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-56778504828812424002014-06-17T11:17:54.583-04:002014-06-17T11:17:54.583-04:00Is there OK to transfer the little sprout of Jacar...Is there OK to transfer the little sprout of Jacaranda mimosifolia to bigger pot?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15783088635675834329noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-7105995420106604932014-01-20T04:12:15.918-05:002014-01-20T04:12:15.918-05:00I myself bought Jakaranda seeds three years ago,bu...I myself bought Jakaranda seeds three years ago,but they didn't grow,so is there any one could help by telling me the good conditions for growing the seeds?
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-26715137399409879342013-04-22T11:17:42.852-04:002013-04-22T11:17:42.852-04:00Peter, I did scarify them lightly before soaking.Peter, I did scarify them lightly before soaking.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757110538056043095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-28507327450474809312013-04-22T09:25:24.030-04:002013-04-22T09:25:24.030-04:00Hi , I just ordered some Schizolobium seeds , did ...Hi , I just ordered some Schizolobium seeds , did you scarify the seeds at all ?Peterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13920718295568275125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-9949398585511684022011-11-28T08:48:45.160-05:002011-11-28T08:48:45.160-05:00College Gardener, I know right? Especially as winter is fast approaching.

Rohrerbot, I originally thought the Jacaranda would be hard to keep small but I've heard encouraging news that it really manageable in a small pot and may even flower.

Kaveh, Those are really nice. Unfortunately I found out about them after I ordered the seeds. Otherwise that would have been my choice. From what I've read most of the species should be able to bloom eventually even small with proper pruning. The only one I don't ever expect flowers from is the Schizolobium.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10757110538056043095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-40281345488310817042011-11-27T16:23:17.034-05:002011-11-27T16:23:17.034-05:00You should try Caesalpinia pulcherrima. It just seems a shame to grow all these huge trees that probably are too big to even bloom in a full size conservatory.Kavehhttp://plantpropaganda.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8357482105288753344.post-39241268234079952572011-11-27T13:52:00.346-05:002011-11-27T13:52:00.346-05:00Nice!!!
